Feeling the heat from the flickering flames of the open fireplace, while lounging on the softest sofa I have ever laid my bits on, I’m still amazed that we are here, in a real beach house, Lane’s beach house to be exact. If this was ours, I’m sure we would find a way to work from home and move in here permanently, ditching the city apartment lifestyle we currently live. My girl could afford it if she wanted to, but feels as if it would be too isolated living in a house like this all alone.

Despite the reason we are here, today has been wonderful, in a quiet, understated way, but still wonderful. The gentle caring and subtle affection that Lane has been showing Alexis is mesmerising and has had my girl’s heart rate rising more than a handful of times today. He has been a perfect gentleman, which to be honest, has been frustrating at times for both my girl and I.

His light kisses and gentle touches have flooded my centre more than once today and has my girl’s brain overflowing with naughty thoughts, which then have her feeling guilty, thinking that she is here recovering from an attack and was not invited here for a dirty weekend away. But damn it if we don’t want a naughty weekend desperately with this man, right here, right now.

Even Eight has been restrained, to a point. The respect they are showing us is heart-warming. The quiet walks along the beach were so very sweet, the silence saying more than mere words could have expressed. Then Lane understanding Alexis’s need to focus some of her restlessness on work, their laptops opposite each other on the dining table, was a vision that had my girl craving that kind of companionship every weekend here.

And then dinner! Holy fucking meat on a stick was that a beautiful and yummy surprise. The old saying, ‘the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach,’ could so easily be translated to, ‘the way to a woman’s heart and soul and panties and everything in between, is through her stomach,’ when it comes to a man who can cook more than just a BBQ. The meal was delicious, but even more than that, the time spent looking into Lane’s eyes and his looking right back, was … heaven. We can’t help but think what a good Mr. Long Term Guy Lane Anderson would make.

But now, sitting here, in front of the fire, with Lane sitting beside us, his arm casually hanging over Alexis’s shoulder while she is snuggled comfortably into his side, is pure torture! I’m trying so very hard to not let our arousal become too obvious, because if he was to reject my girl in this moment, I honestly don’t think she would survive too well at all. And the restraint that Eight is showing would be admirable, if it wasn’t so hilariously painful to hear.
